Ibraheem Yaqoub El-Zakzaky: Shia Islam, Society and the Rise of Iconic Figure in Contemporary Northern Nigeria

From 6 to 22 December, Remoboko had the opportunity to host Dr Danladi Abah from the Department of History & International Studies, Kogi State University, Anyigba, Nigeria.

On 7 December, he presented the paper “Ibraheem Yaqoub El-Zakzaky: Shia Islam, Society and the Rise of Iconic Figure in Contemporary Northern Nigeria” at the workshop Iconic Figures Intersecting Religious and Political Narratives of the Past organised at ZMO.
